THE SHORT VERSION

Enjoy the experience, do not disrupt the service, and respect the rights attached to artwork and code. This is an independent evolving project, not an officially licensed copy of the original Zoomquilt.

Using this website

These Terms & Conditions apply to your use of Zoomquilt2.org and its associated interactive artwork, pages and features. By accessing the website, you agree to use it lawfully and in accordance with these terms. If you do not wish to do so, please discontinue use.

Some legal protections cannot be excluded by private terms. Nothing here is intended to override mandatory rights that apply to you under local law.

What the website provides

Zoomquilt2.org presents a browser-based, stylized 3D art experiment. Its current concept uses a continuously moving viewpoint through scenes inspired by jungle ruins, ceremonial architecture, crystal spaces and clockwork structures. The website may change, pause, remove or add scenes and interface features without a guarantee of uninterrupted availability.

The experience is provided primarily for creative exploration and entertainment. It is not a navigational, medical, financial, educational-certification or professional decision-making service.

Availability and technical requirements

The interactive scene depends on compatible browser technology, including JavaScript and WebGL, and may require access to external code-delivery services for libraries such as Three.js. Performance varies with your device, browser, graphics capabilities, network connection and system settings.

You are responsible for using a reasonably up-to-date browser and for managing your own device settings. The website may not function on every device or assistive technology configuration; accessible informational content should remain available through these separate pages.

Fair and lawful use

You agree not to:

  • Use the site to distribute malware, attack infrastructure or deliberately interfere with other visitors’ access.
  • Attempt unauthorized access to servers, accounts, administrative areas or underlying services.
  • Misrepresent an affiliation with the website or its creators.
  • Scrape or redistribute copyrighted artwork, third-party assets or code in violation of applicable rights or licenses.
  • Use automated requests at a rate that unreasonably disrupts the site’s operation.

Ordinary browsing, linking to public pages and legitimate reporting of security or accessibility issues are welcome.

Artwork, code and other intellectual property

Original artwork, text, design elements and code may be protected by copyright or other rights held by their respective owners. Some technical components, including open-source libraries, carry separate licenses. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership of such materials or grants a blanket right to reproduce them.

Where material belongs to another creator, its use remains subject to that creator’s rights and any applicable permission or license. If you believe content on this site infringes your rights, please email blooginga@gmail.com with the relevant page or asset URL and an explanation of your claim.

External services and links

Links may point to software libraries, development resources or other websites. Such third parties are responsible for their own services, terms, privacy practices and availability. A link does not necessarily imply endorsement.

Zoomquilt2.org is an independent project and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the creators or operators of the original Zoomquilt or Zoomquilt 2 websites.

No promise of uninterrupted performance

The project is provided on an “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we do not guarantee that the website will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure from every risk or compatible with all hardware and browsers. Visual demonstrations and descriptions are subject to the limitations of the current prototype and may evolve.

We strive to keep information accurate, but site descriptions do not amount to a warranty that a particular scene, effect or performance level will always be available.

Responsibility and limitations

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the website operator is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from interruptions, browser compatibility problems, external services or reliance on information published for general artistic or descriptive purposes.

This clause does not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including rights and remedies that must remain available under applicable consumer or other law.

Changes to these terms or the site

We may update the terms to reflect a change to the project, functionality, service providers, legal obligations or risk management. The effective date on this page will be updated when a material revision is published. Continued use after the revised terms take effect may constitute acceptance to the extent permitted by law.

We may suspend a feature or the site itself for maintenance, technical limitations, security concerns or other reasonable operational reasons.

Questions or complaints

For questions about these terms, a rights concern or a report of site misuse, email blooginga@gmail.com. Please include the relevant URL, a concise description of the issue and any supporting information you are comfortable sharing.

Any dispute will be subject to applicable law and any mandatory jurisdictional rules. These terms do not invent a particular governing jurisdiction where the operator’s legal details have not been established.
